Many excellent cycle paths are dotted throughout the various seaside villages and islands of the Moreton Bay region. There are plenty of off-road tracks, too, for those who like to create a bit of dust in their wake! As they say… ‘Get on your bike!’

Carve it up at one of the BMX tracks and parks at Deception Bay, Redcliffe, Cleveland, and Bribie Island. For the more enthusiastic cyclist, set yourself the challenge of completing the entire length of the Southern Moreton Bay Cycleway. This snakes through 150km of coastal Moreton Bay; incorporating seaside esplanades, national park areas, and urban landscapes.

The coastal villages each have stretches of excellent cycleway along their bay foreshores and through other areas taking in wetland perimeters, urban areas, mangrove stretches, seaside boardwalks and landscaped parklands.
